Exciting things are happening at Lee County Libraries! As we prepare to move into the new Main Library, there will be a temporary closure while staff relocate collections, equipment, and services. During the closure, the Broadway Branch will remain open and patrons can use their LCL library cards at other NC Cardinal libraries. Main Library due dates and fines will be paused. Here’s what to expect during the transition: April 20 – May 1 | Soft Opening The new Main Library will reopen with regular hours while staff resume services and prepare for the official celebration. May 2 | Grand Opening Celebration Join us for the official Grand Opening of the new Main Library! Enjoy a full day of activities and programs, building tours, live performances, food trucks, and more! Library Hours: 10 AM – 5 PM Grand Opening Events: 10 AM – 4 PM Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: 10 AM New Address: 1740 Bragg Street, Sanford, NC, 27330 (Behind the State Employees’ Credit Union and beside O.T. Sloan Park) Parking Information: Parking at the library will be limited during the Grand Opening Celebration. Park & Ride service will be available from O.T.
