Mark your calendars! Our free community event, Egg-A-Palooza, hosted by Lee County NC – Parks & Recreation and City of Sanford NC Parks is scheduled for March 28, 2026 starting at 11 AM! NEW this year, the event will be held at Lee County Athletic Park. Lee County Parks and Recreation is also hosting our first-ever Bunny Run 5K ($25 registration fee) and 1-miler ($15 registration fee) at 9:30 AM before Egg-A-Palooza. Come join us for all the fun: egg hunts, food trucks, photo opportunities, games, face-painting, music, and more!
