Hugger Mugger Brewing brings a little mystery to Sanford, and that’s by design. Named for a Shakespearean word meaning “secretive,” the brewery leans into the city’s masonic heritage with symbol-laden tapestries and 18 craft beers brewed on site. The spacious beer hall and outdoor beer garden (with nightly food trucks) welcome everyone, families and dogs included. This May, Carolina Indie Fest returns to Hugger Mugger for another two days of free live music and original indie artists right in the heart of downtown.
