Sanford, NC invites you to dive into everything strawberry on Saturday, May 10th! Strawberry Jammin’ is a weekend celebration of the fruit that’s dear to many of our hearts and taste buds.

Join us Saturday, May 10, 2025 for a full day of strawberry-themed fun in Sanford. The day kicks off bright and early at the Sanford Farmers’ Market, where you’ll find fresh local strawberries, recipe demonstrations, children’s activities, a strawberry smoothie blender, gardening tips from the Master Gardeners, and live Bluegrass music.

Stick around all day for the Strawberry Food & Shopping Stroll, featuring delicious strawberry-inspired dishes, cocktails, and mocktails from 14 local restaurants and breweries. Downtown shops will offer strawberry-themed merchandise, sip-and-shop specials, and unique pop-up vendors throughout the day.

At 1 PM, head to Steele Street for a high-energy Downtown Alive! concert featuring the Carolina Soul Band, complete with food trucks, beer vendors, and a lively fun zone for all ages. Then keep the vibe going with a DJ party in Charlie Watson Lane from 3–5 PM, the perfect way to dance your way through the afternoon.

Be sure to stop by the Visit Sanford Welcome Center to preorder your Strawberry Stroll Snack Box—a curated selection of sweet and savory strawberry treats from local businesses—and the popular Strawberry Sips Refillable Tea Cup, which gets you free tea refills all day long at participating locations. With great eats, live entertainment, local flavor, and plenty of strawberry surprises around every corner, this year’s Strawberry Jammin’ Festival is one you won’t want to miss!
