Sanford, NC invites you to dive into everything strawberry, May 11-13! Strawberry Jammin’ is a three-day celebration of the fruit that’s dear to many of our hearts and taste buds.

Head downtown Thursday evening to start your weekend with Downtown Alive! The season finale for this spring concert series at The Depot is a live performance by “September,” an Earth, Wind & Fire Tribute Band. Enjoy food trucks offering strawberry-inspired dishes and specialty strawberry brews from local breweries as well.

Get ready Friday evening to make the rounds downtown to various restaurants and bars on the Strawberry Cocktail Crawl! At each stop, sip and savor a variety of strawberry-themed food and drink. Along the way, grab selfies in Charlie Watson Lane and enter giveaways at shops on Steele Street. There’s also plenty of live music to enjoy at the Carolina Indie Fest hosted by Hugger Mugger Brewing. You’ll also find musical acts cranking out the tunes at both Smoke and Barrel and Wild Dogs Brewing.

Saturday is jam-packed with even more exciting experiences and events! Begin your morning at the Sanford Farmers’ Market, visiting strawberry vendors, watching recipe demos, listening to Bluegrass, and so much more! From there, grab a bite (or several) to eat on the Strawberry Food Stroll. Round out the afternoon, browsing vendors and catching performances on Charlie Watson Lane followed by the Piedmont Blues mural dedication in Depot Park. For a “berry,” awesome evening, head back to Hugger Mugger Brewing for even more amazing music at the Carolina Indie Fest.
